Someone was bored that day so we went out to entertain ourselves..
After listening to disturbing emo music, after eating too much sweets and after spending all our powercards credits on pang pang paradise, we decided to explore other talents we might have. We're obviously not talented dancers and singers also playing poker is not much of a talent so we decided to give acting a try.. hahaha!

Had 16 weddings for december plus I attended 1 wedding of my friend in batangas so had 17 weddings all in all for december. What a blessing! and I would just like to thank a few people I had shared this wonderful month with.. read more here: http://graciellehernandez.com/blog/?p=142
My website is up and running already. The About page and What's New page are still under construction and there are a few things I still have to fix but most of it are working already.
Simply because I don't want everyone to be notified whenever I post something. I don't think that's the purpose of having a blog. Sure, I can filter who can read my blogs but that's the thing, I don't want anyone to be notified whenever I post in my blog. Most of the time I just want to write about something, express my thoughts but I don't really want to entice anyone to read it, and that is what happens when you get notified, or maybe its just me. I just feel weird posting blogs in my multiply. I don't mind people reading my blog, I just get bothered that they get notices. That's it. Like this, you just spent a good 2 mins of your life reading my crap, why? Because you got notified, makes sense? Maybe, I'll just revive my blogspot, or use something else..
Ok over the past few weeks I have read and watched weird but cool to know stuff on tv and the internet.. check em out here:
First:
While watching Ellen in their segment with the science guy Steve Spangler they showed this:
Ok, for a person who grew up with a catering business and who KINDA knows what goes around in the kitchen, watching something like this is really cool!! :)
Next:
Did you know that in 2003 a guy named Steve Bartman was offered to be in the witness protection program because of a baseball game? Apparently, while watching in support for the Chicago Cubs, Bartman caught a foulball which prevented the Cubs to get into the World Series. End result, a lot of super angry Cubs fan! For more info check it out here:
Now, he was offered $25,000 for one autograph (where he should also be present). according to the news I read:
"No one in sports memorabilia history has ever been paid $25,000 to sign one autograph — not Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Joe DiMaggio, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, or any other athlete,”
That's Ryan and Leo Gerth and they are twins! According to Yahoo news "Twin baby boys Ryan (L) and Leo Gerth rest in a Berlin hospital July 18, 2008. The twin boys, who have radically differing skin colours, were born on July 11 by Caesarean section to German mixed race couple Stephan and Florence Gerth".
Their parents:
Made me think of Christina and Burke from Grey's Anatomy.. hehe! Coolness!
Haha, My pictures are not sorted yet so I can't post pictures yet, maybe when I get back to Manila. Some of my fashion shots can be seen in toto's website. He was too anxious to post our fashion shots he uploaded my pictures too! Anyway if you want to know what toto is doing here in camsur, let the pictures tell you.. Hehehe!
Justine Henin retired yesterday. I'm just so disappointed when I read it yesterday that I wasn't able to blog it right away. At the age of 25, while she was still the world's number 1 ranked women's tennis player, she just retired, just like that! Now she holds the record for the highest ranking tennis player to ever retire. In case you don't know who Justine Henin is, just imagine Kobe Bryant retiring or Tiger Woods, Lorena Ochoa, Peyton Manning or David Beckham? She is currently the best in the world of women's tennis.
In less than a year 2 of my favorite women's tennis player retires.. Just last November 1, 2007 my favorite tennis player Martina Hingis announced her retirement after a drug controversy that she denies, now its Henin. Right at the time where the once unbeatable Roger Federer finds it hard to win matches. Truly a sad and disappointing year for tennis. Now I only have Ana Ivanovic to watch in the upcoming French Open.
Speaking of drug controversy, I know Marion Jones' doping scandal was so long ago already, I always wanted to blog about it, I just wasn't able to. I was a huge fan of Marion Jones during the 2000 olympics. I even cried when she became an olympic gold medalist. (i know its pathetic but I was a kid then, hehe) Now its so sad to hear that she cheated at that time because she was taking performance enhancers. Just so disappointing..
About the 2008 olympics, what china is doing just to make the 2008 olympics in beijing grand is just plain wrong. I have always looked forward to the olympics since I was a kid, but because of what's happening now, I'm not as excited as I used to be.
On other news not really related to sports.. Syesha Mercado was the latest eliminated contestant in the American Idol. So its going to be David Archuleta and David Cook in the finals. I think David Cook should win. I think its time for a rocker to win the American Idol. I'm not a big fan of Cook, I just think he deserves it. I never liked Archuleta, I think he's too pa-cute, its a little bit irritating. I'm sorry to all Archuleta fans out there, its just my opinion. Regardless of who wins it, I'm sure that David Cook is gonna make it big in the music industry so it doesn't really matter who wins the American Idol.
